Our Support for a Record-Breaking Paper Drive
Environmental responsibility and initiatives aimed at building a more sustainable future have been integral to evergreen recycling’s operations since the company was founded. Alongside its many in-house sustainability programmes, the company recently supported the autumn and spring paper collection drives organised by the Endre Ady Primary School in Štúrovo.
The community initiative surpassed all previous results. Thanks to the exceptional commitment and cooperation of students, teachers and parents, nearly 70 tonnes of paper were collected in just a few days. This record volume of recyclable material will be processed at Evergreen Recycling’s facility. In recognition of the school community’s outstanding achievement, Evergreen Recycling awarded the school a gift voucher worth €1,700. Sándor Simon, Manager at evergreen recycling, presented the voucher to the school’s principal during the end-of-year ceremony.
